2 AM and Too Much Purple Yarn

So I've got a blog now. Cool.
What You Should Know
I would have been a lot more successful if my mother hadn't taught me how to purl completely wrong. One tangled, holey mess of a cell phone holder later, I gave up.
All was forgotten until December, when I was hit with the sudden urge to knit. Completely out of nowhere, I suddenly had to knit right then. I petitioned my roommate to drive me to walmart, and soon enough, I was on my way to knitting a godawful ugly version of knitty's adorable Calorimetry. It was supposed to be a Christmas present for my roommate, but it turned out so horribly that I showed it to her, then promised to redo it.
As of now, I've got 4 FO's
My very own Calorimetry. I modified it a bit, only casting on 80 stitches, and not going as many rows as the pattern called for. I don't know exactly how many, I just sort of eyed it to where it looked like the width I wanted.
Version 2 of my roommate's Calo. I still think it's sort of ugly, but this time it's not my fault. It's just not pretty yarn. (She picked it out though, so I just went with it) I made this one a bit bigger. Cast on 88 and did about 2 more rows than mine.
Belt for my other roommate. Still needs fringe for the tie. I used this pattern for it. It looks a little weird because I used worsted weight with size 3 needles, but I still like it.
Kittyville Hat from Stitch 'N Bitch. Still needs cat ears, but my 7's are at school. I still like it sans ears, though. I've decided that I-Cords are the Most Fun Thing Ever.
